2011: The Year I Simplify My Life

I've been thinking long and hard about what I want to do in 2011. I know this list is late, but it was pretty hard to write because well, there's really just so much I want to do and make better. So this year my resolution for the year is to simplify my life. And I'm going to do that using these 11 (had to be 11) goals. I decided for once to make all of my goals things that I want to do and things that make me happy so they are a little more realistic. In addition to making me happy, all of my goals are simple. Four. Words. Simple.

  1. Run a full marathon.
  2. Read all the scriptures.
  3. Read 50 different books.
  4. Date my husband, weekly.
  5. Play Stay on guitar.
  6. Clean something every day.
  7. Blog 3x a week.
  8. Play tourist in DC.
  9. Go on 10 trips.
  10. Budget to save $5000.
  11. Laugh every single day.

I'm not sure anyone really noticed, but run a marathon is #1 on my list for a reason. There's no significance to the rest of the list, but every time I thought about what I wanted to do this year running a marathon was the only thing that I came up with. If I don't do anything else this year,

I WILL RUN A MARATHON!

I will do whatever I can to help you reach these goals. I already have two very cool ways to help with #8. Here's to 2011!
