I'm no longer on a team with the "web developers" that all wear jeans every day. I'm now on a team that talks to clients and meets with executives, a team that needs to give off a professional vibe. My work is professional. My clothing is not. I have plenty of professional clothes; I just suck at putting them together to make cute outfits. And I don't think they sell DVDs of What Not to Wear seasons.
Does anyone have any great advice or any great blogs/websites I can go to where I can find easy suggestions and tips for putting together professional and stylish outfits?

That's great news about your job! I highly suggest the ladies at Academic chic. They are creative and fun and a lot of their outfits you could dig out things from your own closet to do something similar. http://www.academichic.com/
I feel you on trying to put together a cute, professional look though. Always tough for me!
Fun for you! I hate that we are so far away. I feel so out of date on your life. I'm excited for you though! I don't really have a suggestion...I'm not any good at it. But, I will be on the look out!!
they actually do sell What Not to Wear DVD's- check them out on the main website for TLC
Congrats on the new position! I have no idea about good fashion websites, etc. Maybe you could pick up a What Not to Wear book at the library?
Congrats on your new job! As a fellow PM, clients are fun! I suggest Bananna Republic! They always have great professional clothes that are easy to match up and GREAT quality so they last!
That is wonderful news - working at home I have the same issue and when I have to dress for work- I try to look more carefully at what women are wearing on the train etc - I see how much it looks like anything I might have - and then when it usually doesn't I do a dreaded visit to the shopping centre!! Probably I too could do with a what not to wear book!
just playing blog stalking/catchup!! i'm in the same boat...starting grad school this summer and need to start looking professional-ish :) some blogs i like to read (and need to start paying more attention to are: http://www.cardiganempire.com/ (look at the sidebar to the right to see what body type you are; she has great suggestions there) and http://www.sensiblystyled.com/ has cute ideas, too.
good luck!
