Guess what I had for lunch today?

And it was delicious. I am officially done with my no sweets month and have crossed it off my 24 in 24 list. I had to pass on a lot of my favorite things (gummy bears, gelato, cake with funfetti frosting, and an oreo milkshake), but it was a lot easier than I thought it would be. Since I wasn't eating sweets, I didn't crave sweets. Go figure.

Congrats, Brit! I think it makes it easier too. For the most part, I don't even think about having a piece of candy. The other day, I was giving Eleni a piece of candy for going potty in front of Kenzi. Kenzi's mouth was probably watering, but I didn't even notice. I just put it away without even offering a piece to her. Downi was like, "Can Kenzi have a piece?" I was clueless. I just forget that people want candy because it's been so long since I've had it!
Crud. Reading your post reminded me that I have decided that February was going to be a "soda free" month for me. Goodbye Dr. Pepper, Root Beer, Cream Soda and Shasta Black Cherry. Maybe I'll make up for it by gorging on cupcakes. Look forward to seeing you again in a few days.
Wow, that is inspiring! Maybe I should make Febrary a sweet free month for me (especially since we are going to the beach for a week in March!)
Yum! I think I just gained a few pounds just looking at that picture! Congrats on the no sweets. That takes a lot of self discipline!

I've done that diet before and it's hard so I commend you on accomplishing it. It will take only that one dessert to make you crave sugar again so no worries.
