i'm not sure if you've already read these- or where you'd like to classify them... but i just read 'the hunger games' and 'catching fire' the third in the series to debut this year. they are excellent!
i agree the Hunger Games and Catching Fire are very good. Maybe you've read this too but i really like The Host. Stephanie Meyer. I also just read Undaunted, it's a newer book by Lund. (LDS author) i see your movies category...my dad has read the Bourne books. He liked them. and i've read that author a bunch, he's good. Robert Ludlum.
The Story of Edgar Sawtelle is a great book...and it was probably on the 2009 best sellers list....
