100 in 2010

My goal is to read 10 books in each of the 10 categories below before the clock strikes midnight on December 31, 2010. I'm open to any recommendations you have.

1- LDS non-fiction books (stole this category)
2- Classics (because as an English major I really should have read these)
3- Historical fiction (fell in love with these after Cleopatra's Daughter)
4- Books from Oprah's book club list
5- Books written/published in 1985
6- Books that were made into movies (or vice versa)
7- Books I'm sent to review by publishers (since I'll do this anyway)
8- Books that have a number in the title
9- Books set in DC (at least partially)

i'm not sure if you've already read these- or where you'd like to classify them... but i just read 'the hunger games' and 'catching fire' the third in the series to debut this year. they are excellent!

i agree the Hunger Games and Catching Fire are very good. Maybe you've read this too but i really like The Host. Stephanie Meyer. I also just read Undaunted, it's a newer book by Lund. (LDS author) i see your movies category...my dad has read the Bourne books. He liked them. and i've read that author a bunch, he's good. Robert Ludlum.

The Story of Edgar Sawtelle is a great book...and it was probably on the 2009 best sellers list....
