I have a 15 year old sister that I love to death. She reminds me a lot of myself at that age, well sort of. She reminds me of what I wished I was at that age. She's my reading buddy, and the one who got me hooked on Twilight. I talk to her on the phone for at least a few minutes every week, and she can always put a smile on my face. She called me the other day to tell me a funny story.
"Me and Erica (my fifteen year old cousin) just bought sweaters at Ann Taylor."
That was it. That was her story.
I asked her why that was so funny, and she laughed and said, "That's a store for mom and grandma."
Uh oh. My wardrobe is probaby 50% Ann Taylor Loft.
Well at least I'm a stylish grandma.

Oh hilarious!
Don't you just love little sisters? Most of my work clothes are Ann Taylor. In fact, it's what I told my mom I wanted if anyone wanted giftcard ideas or me for Christmas.
I have two younger sisters, so I know exactly how it goes. Things I think are cool are either (a) totally cool omg our sister is AMAZING; or (b) well, if she likes it, BACK AWAY. She'll learn, one day, that life isn't all it seems at the outset. Great story!
What would life be like without sisters (all six of them)...
Ha! I had the same reaction you did ("what's so funny?"). I guess we are getting older - I have a few Ann Taylor things in my closet, too.
Haha
My wardrobe too. I should take stock in them.
Ha I looove Ann Taylor-LOFT. That sounds like something my sister would say too, and she's 20, so don't feel bad. It's just a matter of classy taste ;)
It's ok. She'll see the err in her ways in about five to seven years.
Ann Taylor...gag. I
was debating whether or
not to comment on this
post, due to my lack
of love for that company.
(Which PS...I quit working
there...wooo!)
