Tonight is the season finale of American Idol, and I've been watching faithfully all week. I'm not sure why since I think most of us knew the finale would be a David showdown. I have just one question (alright maybe more than one) for you, and it's not who do you think is going to win.Do you think tonight even matters? Do you think that anyone out there is actually going to base their vote on how the two perform tonight or are voter's minds already made up based on prior performances? Is your mind already made up (whether or not you'll vote or not)?

I'm not sure it does matter. I think that David Cook will eventually be the more successful one - and he doesn't need the Idol title to do that.
I am just not that excited about the finale. I wish I was - I'll still watch and blog though:)
fabulous question. i think it is going to be a VERY close race...and so maybe tonight will matter. i mean, if one of them seriously screws up, that could be important.
I think viewers already know who they are voting for. I'm not voting, because I don't care who wins. They will both have successful careers. It doesn't matter who wins, they're both already famous. But I will be watching!
This is the first season where I have actually followed american idol and i love it! I love both! I liked brooke too :( But hey you said that you were thinking about making a change jar.... if you would like some ideas I made one to for a "date night" change holder... but you don't have to call it that. But look under my crafts seccion if you are interested in some ideas :)
I like them both and I will vote-- is my mind made up? Not sure, so... no.. I guess and maybe Siesha's(sp?) fan's will be making a new choice tonight I heard someone say David A will be better with life experience --love --loss-- pain--etc and I have to agree
I know my mind is already made up. I'm all for David Cook no matter what happens tonight. That was a very valid question.
Such a dull season...That show needs to loosen up and allow for some diversity me thinks unless it wants to get turned into Broadway Idol.
Honestly I've been watching the whole season and just don't care what happens tonight!
i def think when people vote their minds are already made up...i know mine is..GO DAVID!!(hahaha cook..that is!)
I do hope that David Cook wins, and I think that people make up their mind based on who they like, and not necessarily talent.
My daughter and I are Cook fans all the way. Orginality, comfortable on stage, sensitivity and deep feeling while on stage. I think his style is more versatile and edgy. I think he took more risks the whole season and definately pulled it off. Talent yes....will he sell lots of records if he does not make idol...yes yes yes
Soooo already made up. David A. annoys me. David C. is so original and fantastic. He got my vote!
