Tickle Me Tuesday: Musical Moments

My good friend Jacki over at Moving at the Speed of Life hosts Tickle Me Tuesdays, and I thought for once I would join in. I found it at a blog I was checking out yesterday and wasted far too much time playing with it. Isn't technology great? All you have to do is click on this link and put in a date. It'll tell you what the #1 song was on a particular date in the US, UK, or Australia on that day. I have no idea how accurate it is, but it's still kind of fun. Here are ten musical highlights of my life:
Day I was born (September 25, 1985): Money for Nothing by Dire Straits
10th birthday (September 25, 1995): Fantasy by Mariah Carey
16th birthday (September 25, 2001): Fallin' by Alicia Keys
18th birthday (September 25, 2003): Skae Your Tailfeather by Nelly & P Diddy
Graduation from high school (June 16, 2003): 21 Questions by 50 Cent
First date with Richie (May 17, 2006): SOS by Rihanna
Engagement (August 1, 2006): Promiscuous by Nelly Furtado and Timbaland
21st Birthday (September 25, 2006): SexyBack by Justin Timberlake
Wedding (December 28, 2006): Irreplaceable by Beyonce
College Graduation (April 27, 2007): Give It To Me- Nelly Furtado, Timbaland, and Justin Timberlake

These wouldn't have been my top choices for the highlights of my life... but they are very appropriate. I mean SOS for my first date, couldn't have picked something more perfect if I tried. You should try it out- what was the #1 song the day you were born? Your first kiss? Your wedding day?

Yeah I agree....some of them are very appropriate. Like "Give it to me" for college graduation and "Irreplaceable" for your wedding.

I'm gonna have to run over there.

I tried a couple but it didn't list anything for my b-day and year born. Some other funny stuff though in other years. I guess nothing exciting was happening in July of 1975! Except me being born!

I like SexyBack for 21st! Appropriate!

That was fun, and revealing of how old I really am! On the day I was born The Streak by Ray Stevens was #1 (May 28, 1974). I graduated from high school on my 18th birthday when Jump by Kris Kross was #1. I got married on July 12, 1997 when I'll be Missing You by Puff Daddy and Faith Evans was #1. How many times has Sean Combs changed his name since then?
