I'm Off to See the Wizard Again

No I'm not going to see Wicked again. I don't think I could get that lucky again. But I am going to visit my parents in Kansas City. I fly out tonight and fly back in Sunday morning. I'm leaving in fifteen minutes and am so excited for the break from everything. It's Richie's spring break so we actually might get some real relaxing in. Here are the tentative plans for the four days we're in KC:
Wednesday:
9:30 PM: Arrive in Kansas City and get picked up by my mom in the Armada.
10:30 PM: Get to their large and spacious house (very unlike our small apt); unpack.
11:00 PM: Talk to my mom for hours and tell her all the things I haven't told her in our daily phone calls; go to bed.

Thursday:
10:00 AM: Wake up and shower in their steam shower.
11:00 AM: Eat scrumptious homemade breakfast (a.k.a. Fruity Pebbles).
12:00 PM: Get pedicures with my mom while Richie studies.
1:30 PM: Eat/Play Games/ Go Shopping/ Go See the Horses.
5:00 PM: Do something incredibly fun with family.
7:00 PM: Eat some yummy homemade dinner (pizza loaf??!?!)
8:00 PM: Watch four hopefuls get kicked off American Idol.
10:00 PM: Soak in hot tub after long day of fun.

Friday:
10:00 AM: Wake up and eat breakfast with mom (or dad).
11:00 AM: Go out to barn to ride Mom's horses.
2:00 PM: Eat yummy lunch that I don't have to cook or buy.
4:00 PM: Pick up girls from school and drive to girl's night out.
7:00 PM: Best Girl's Night Out Ever!!!
11:00 PM: Fall asleep in a hotel exhausted.

Saturday:
10:00 AM: Go to Health Ridge (gym) to beat my play racquetball with my dad.
12:00 PM: Shower and eat a yummy lunch.
2:00 PM: Play pool, cribbage or foosball with Bren and Briel.
5:00 PM: Meet up with everyone to go eat dinner at some place Richie would appreciate-- so not Hard Times.
8:00 PM: Walk around downtown Kansas City and enjoy time with the family.
11:00 PM: Pack and get ready to go home :(

My parents don't actually know about any of these plans yet (except the pedicure), but I hope think they'll be happy to play along. I may not be around for the next few days but don't think it's because I'm not working out. It'll be because I'm too busy beating my dad in racquetball or soaking my soar muscles in the hot tub. Have a wonderful week and check back for details on my adventures in Kansas. Is there anything better than relaxing with your family?
